Located in the heart of downtown Newaygo, Michigan. The Saloon is where good friends get together over great food and drinks.

The River Stop Saloon has been a beloved fixture in our community since it opened in 2010. Originally established by Ray and Cindy Sohr from Grand Rapids, MI, who wanted to transform their favorite summertime destination into a permanent home, the Saloon has thrived under their vision and dedication. Cindy's extensive experience in the industry, combined with her unique twist on authentic Mexican cooking and classic American favorites, quickly made the Saloon a favorite among both locals and visitors.

Today, the tradition continues as their daughter Jen, alongside her husband Nick, now run the restaurant. They are committed to upholding the family business's legacy and ensuring that the River Stop Saloon remains a vibrant part of our downtown neighborhood, keeping its welcoming and local vibes alive.
